1. What is the present function of the property? What is the historical value of the property?
The castle was built in the 17th century by Slovenian branch of Deutscher Orden. They are stil owners of the castle. The castle was nationalized by comunist government for about 50 years – they kept the home for retired people in the castle. Now the castle is empty. The building (walls and construction) are in very good condition, but it should be totaly reneved for the future purpose.

2. What kind of communications is present (water electricity phone etc.)
There is water - extra large water pipe, electricity, phone, sewage system.

There are 2 good roads to the house.

4. What kind of land it is - agricultural or for building? Are there any restrictions on using the land for building?
Few thousands of square meters around the house there is a land which can be used to build on it, the rest part of land is agricultural land with no restrictions. There is a great interest of local society to run a tourist activity on that land & in the castle such as golf, horse breeding, medical activity, probably casino, hotel, spa– it is a strong likelihood there is a thermal water… etc. In Slovenia there are some Spa with hotel resorts which are already making an excellent profit, but I am positively sure this castle is located in much better position than other Thermae…

5. How far is the nearest village, shop, post office etc. ?
The castle is situated beside the small village. The post office is about 3 kilometers from the castle, the shop is about 5000 meters from the castle.

6. Is the land separate from the house or is it in one single piece?
The castle and the land is in one single piece.

7. Is it in a forest or in an open space?

Open space See the picture on page no. 2. On the picture there is only a little bit of a land which belongs to the castle.

8. What kind of landscape it belongs to? (hills, plane, forest, etc?)
Plane landscape.

9. Is there any water nearby - a river or a lake? If yes, how far away?
There is a river Drava about 800 m or less far from the castle and 10 km from Ptuj lake.

10. What is the state of the building? Is the building protected by
the government, is it possible to modify its architecture?
The main building (a castle) can not be changed, the assistant buildings could be changed.
In the castle there is a small chappel which should not be changed – it remains as a cultural monument.

11. If we buy - please briefly describe the procedure.
Very simple: you can come to see the castle. If you like it you proceed the payment and the castle is yours at the same moment.
